This small and intimate lodge has seven bungalow suites, set within tropical gardens, overlooking the blue sea of Chole Bay - the core of Mafia Island Marine Park. It prides itself on offering an eco-lodge style and approach.

The 7 suites are elegant and spacious, tastefully designed and built using local materials and genuine Zanzibari antiques. The ensuite bathrooms are spacious and comfortable.
The large private verandahs are furnished with a Zanzibari bed, chairs, table and an armchair.
Raised on stilts, each unit has a private veranda with a Zanzibari bed for those essential afternoon siestas. Indoors, the bedlinen has been imported from Italy, the bathrooms have double basins and the showers are king-sized.
The dining area is near the waters edge, raised up on stilts with a lovely wooden deck.
The cuisine is a combination of diverse culinary traditions and cultures, with an Italian style which relects the ownership.
A very good variety of activities can be arranged from the lodge - dhow trips to nearby sandbanks, snorkelling within Chole Bay, whale shark viewing, and trips to Juani island ruins, ras Mkumbe lighthouse and many surrounding islands.
There is also the chance to enjoy a relaxing body massage with essential oils in the peaceful massage centre overlooking the beach.
