Singita Grumeti Reserves forms part of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Bordering on the western corridor of Serengeti National Park, this exclusive concession spans a vast 350,000 acres of relatively untouched wilderness.  The Great Migration traditionally moves through Grumeti Reserves between June and August however there is an abundance of wildlife all year round.

Singita Faru Faru Lodge brings a contemporary style and opulence to safari.  Inspired by a botanical theme, this riverside lodge offers barefoot elegance in a laid-back rustic setting.

The two rim-flow swimming pools echo those of the watering hole that lies just below. The elevated viewing decks allow guests to view game without even leaving their lodge, and a Swahili-inspired ‘beach’ offers the opportunity for some serious rest and relaxation.

The contrast of stone and canvas against cutting-edge design and comfortable furnishings is integrated in eight open-style suites and one Villa. Each suite has a reading area, a huge picture window, personal bar and fridge, and a deck with Swarovski spotting scope.

The main lodge area offers a dining room, bar, lounge with satellite television, DVD player and library, outdoor barbeque area and The Singita Shop.

Activites here are based around morning and late afternoon game drives, however other activities are available, including archery, lawn croquet, badminton, mountain biking and, of course, star gazing.  Spa facilities are also available.

Along with it's sister camps - Sasakwa Lodge and Sabora Tented Camp - these are without doubt the most luxurious safari accommodation anywhere in Tanzania. All three are fantastic but Faru Faru would be our favourite.
