The camp has a fairly remote location 18km north of Seronera which makes it a good base to explore both the northern and western areas of the Serengeti as well as the centre. Game drives and viewing in the immediate vicinity are somewhat limited, so visitors do tend to spend the whole day out in these other areas.

The 16 spacious tents are uncomplicated in design. Each tent has two four-poster beds, 24-hour electricity, constant hot water, ensuite bathroom, dressing area and a veranda with double sun bed.

The central lounge features a cocktail bar stocked with a discerning selection of beers, wines and spirits, and the stylish boutique showcases a tempting array of gifts, safari accessories, books and cultural crafts.

The dining tent has its own shaded terrace for optional outdoor dining while the cuisine blends the traditional camp fare of flame-roasted meats with salads and fresh garden produce. The camp fire pit away from the main tent is a good place to sit and chat with other guests or guides in the evening.

A good option for customers considering a tented camp but with a slighlty more hotel type feel and set up due to it's Serena hotels connection. The camp is open year round but availability is always tight.
