Singita Grumeti Reserve forms part of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Bordering on the western corridor of Serengeti National Park this exclusive concession spans a vast 350 000 acres of relatively untouched wilderness. The "great" Migration traditionally moves through Grumeti Reserves between June and August however, there is an abundance of wildlife year-round.
Reminiscent of a bygone era, Sabora Tented Camp dishes up a 1920's theme with opulent luxury tents complete with antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs and silk curtains.
The main area of the camp offers a dining room, bar lounge with satellite television, DVD player and library, elevated viewing deck and a swimming pool.
The nine luxury air-conditioned tents each feature an en suite bathroom with a bath and outdoor shower, dressing area, reading area, viewing deck with Swarovski spotting scope and a library lounge tent.
Activites here are based around morning and late afternoon game drives, as well as other options such as tennis, archery, lawn croquet, badminton, mountain biking and star gazing.
Along with it's sister camps - Faru Faru Lodge and Sabora Lodge - these are without doubt the most luxurious safari accommodation anywhere in Tanzania. All three are fantastic whilst Faru Faru would probably be our favourite.
