Each spacious tent in this camp has its own gas heater, large single or king-size beds with warm duvets, wooden flooring with rugs, 24-hr solar lighting, and an en-suite bathroom with a dressing area, flush toilet and a safari shower.

The mess tent is beautifully furnished with grand sofas, lamps, wooden book cabinets, chests and rugs. In the evening everyone tends to gather around the campfire for sundowners before moving to the beautifully set up dining tent or an outside eating area.

Apart from the joy of staying at a lovely tented camp, Lemala’s major advantage over other accommodation on the rim is the quick and easy access into the crater which maximizes game viewing and avoids the traffic. Ol Moti and Empakaai craters are also easily accessible for optional walks with the Maasai.
