Set in the fisherman's village of Kizimkazi, on the south west coast of Zanzibar, this charming beach lodge offers a perfect getaway.  The hotel offers 14 sea front rooms, an infinity swimming pool, tropical gardens and bar to chill out and just watch the ocean.  The hotel prides itself on its great food offering local and international cuisine.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with hot water, double or twin beds with mosquito nets, ceiling fans and spacious verandah facing the Indian Ocean.  Some rooms are big enough for extra beds, perfect for families.  The rooms have all been individually designed to offer style, comfort and touch.

- 3 double rooms with a king size bed (convertible into twin)
- 2 superior spacious double rooms with sky open roof bath
- 4 double rooms with sky open roof showers
- 1 single room
- 2 family rooms (4 persons max)
- 2 twin rooms

The rooms are between 5 and 10 metres from the sea.  The rooms avoid the need for air-conditioning due to the strategic location always attracing a cool breeze.  From your room watch the fishermen sail past on their dhows or stroll through the lush green tropical gardens.

The lodge is often blessed by visits from dolphins.  Two species inhabit the area: the friendly Bottlenose and the more shy Humpback and many guests have enjoyed swimming with the dolphins.  Professional diving coursers and diving activities with snorkelling safaris to the nearby karamba reef.  Traditional sailing Dhow to the Pungume Sandback visiting mangroves and red colobus monkeys on the inhabited Uzi island or sunset cruise.  Deep sea fishing and local fishing.  Bicycle excursion to the East Coast beaches or to nearby villages.

The lodge encourages relaxation through massage, reiki, naturopathy, reflexology and body sculture.  Join Paul, the resident yoga teacher, for yoga and meditation overlooking the ocean.

We have visit this lodge a number of time and customer feedback is very positive for those seeking relaxation and escapism at a lower price.
