A brand new modern resort with superb facilities including an 88 metre infinity pool and stunning sunsets

With traditional makuti roofs and Arabic towers lit by brass lights, the hotel was built with its location in mind. It is a unique combination of modern facilities mixed with the original exotic architecture of historical Zanzibar.

The 120 room luxury resort is situated on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean in Mangwapani and offers panoramic views from the lounge, restaurant, bar and recreational area.

When we visited they had just taken stock of some beautiful horses those wish to explore the island on horseback.  There is also a water sports centre offering a wide range of activities including water skiing, sailing and more. All non-motorized water sports are free to hotel guests.

For guests wanting to relax and be pampered, visit the Shwari Spa. With five treatment rooms offering a range of treatments including manicures, pedicures, facials and massages by Thai therapists. The spa has two steam rooms and saunas so you can truly enjoy your spa experience. After your treatment you can take a swim in the spa’s private pool or sit and enjoy a cup of herbal tea in our spa gardens.

The resort also has a full time children’s centre supervised by professional child minders, offering Sony PlayStations and arts and crafts to name a few.
