Positioned on the edge of a 250-metre high dune, the Dune Camp sleeps a maximum of 12 guests in a totally unspoilt setting.

The camp consists of six comfortable tents, which are pitched on wooden platforms. A spacious deck at the front allows for safe sleep-outs under the stars whilst at the back of each tent is a private bathroom with shower. This is a very civilized and relaxed camping experience.

The main public area comprises of a lounge, a dining area and an open-plan kitchen which allows guests to chat to the chef whilst he prepares meals.  The food at the camp is really excellent and some of the best we have experienced travelling within Namibia.

The sundowner deck next to the main tent has a fireplace and chairs which is a great spot for pre or post dinner drinks and star gazing.

Activities include scenic drives in open Landrovers across the unspoilt Reserve, guided walking trails, incredibly scenic sundowner locations, hot-air ballooning and scenic flights. The guides all have an excellent knowledge of the desert flora and fauna but just as important is their enhtusiasm and warm personalities.

The charm of this camp lies in its tranquil and intimate atmosphere - one of our real favourites.
