Cape Cross Lodge is a curious mix of Cape Dutch and West Coast fishing village architecture, with colossal windows that embrace the natural light and afford endless views of the coastline.

There are 13 double rooms classically appointed with everything you need to be comfortable. The en suite bathrooms are elegant and simple with shower facilities. Each room has a private balcony with the warmth of wooden deckchairs and tables where you can sit, relax and enjoy the views along the coast.

The restaurant dining room overlooks the sea and the food and service have a good repuation.  There is also a lounge with open fire which is great during the colder evenings.

The obvious activity here is to visit the large seal colony however, if you have the time or inclination then you can enjoy some fishing or just strolling along the endless beach.

This is a comfortable hotel and works well if you want to spend a night on the Skeleton Coast rather than staying in Swakopmund when travelling to or from Twyfelfontein.
