The Heinitzburg Hotel is a small converted castle that sits on the brow of a small hill with superb views of the city. The only Relaix & Chateau hotel in Nambia.

The Heinitzburg Hotel is a small converted castle that was originally built at the turn of the 19th century. It offers superb views of the city and though it is quiet and secluded, the Heinitzburg is still conveniently close to the city. There's a pool, refined dining, great wine cellar and sixteen high-quality rooms.
Each room is fully equipped with air-conditioning/heating units, direct telephone lines, electronic safes, mini-bars, cable televisions and music facilities. The Poolside Twin Deluxe rooms have both a shower and bath.
The hotel's gourmet restaurant - "Leo's at the Castle" - overlooks the skyline of the capital city and varied cuisine is served ranging from international to French à la carte.
There is also a "Garden Terrace" where meals, coffee and cakes from the patisserie are served throughout the day. This is also a good spot for sundowner cocktails.
In our opinion this is the best small hotel option in Windhoek and perfect for a night or two at the beginning or end of a trip.
