Duma Tau Camp is a beautiful, luxury, tented camp overlooking one of the many hippo-filled lagoons in the region and shaded by a grove of mangosteen trees.

The ten thatched tents are very spacious, built on wooden decks with canvas walls, en suite bathrooms and outside showers.

The camp also features a dining room, pub, lounge and a special guest bathroom with panoramic views of the surrounding delta.

Wildlife viewing is the primary activity at Duma Tau Camp, with both day and night game drives, exploration on foot and on the water (levels permitting).  Short nature walks can be taken along the Linyanti River and Savute Channel, or there is the option of a boat trip along the river where you may spot hippo and waterfowl.

A number of platforms and hides built around the camp provide excellent viewing and photographic opportunities for animals and birds.  One of the best hides is right at the source of the Savute and many species of game and birdlife can usually be seen from this hide.

The region is renowned for its high elephant concentrations as the herds congregate along the waterways and lagoons during the dry winter months.  Wildlife diversity and viewing is excellent all year round, with wildebeest, red lechwe, Burchell's zebra, giraffe, Cape buffalo, chacma baboon, vervet monkey, and warthog to be seen.  Predator sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena are high.
