Nxabega Tented Camp is tucked under a canopy of massive ebony trees whilst opening up onto wide and expansive views over lagoons and channels within this southern section of the Delta. The name "Nxabega" means "Place of the Giraffe".

The camp has nine exclusive tented suites which are built on wooden platforms letting in the sights and sounds of the bush. The furnishings within the room are very comfortable with double or twin beds, quality cotton sheets and duvets, bedside lamps, chairs, dressing table and wardrobe.

At the back of the tents is an teak floored ensuite bathroom with a shower, flush toilet and washbasin. Each tents has a private wooden veranda with table and chairs looking out over the waters

The large main area is built on quite a grand scale, made from wood and stone with high thatched roofs around a huge jackelberry tree. The interiors of the dinning room are swish with dark wooden panelling and comfortable reed chairs under two blazing chandeliers. Nearby in the lounge are two seperate sets of luxurious settees with rugs on the floors and heavy glass-topped coffee tables with various African artefacts.

Activities include day and night game drives, mokoro excursions and boat trips and the guides are very knowledgable and flexible when scheduling each day. Also if you are not out on an activity the you can escape the heat of the day with a dip in the large swimming pool.
