Kigali

Kigali is Rwanda's attractive capital city.  Located in the centre of the country and spread out over several hills, it is bustling, colourful and noisy whilst also being clean and safe.  It  is a city with positive character and ambience.

The Kigali international airport and road links to the rest of the country mean that it is almost always the starting and finishing point for visitors heading out to the various national parks.

There aren't many tourist attractions in Kigali and as a result there isn't a huge tourism infrastructure, however there are some pleasant enough hotels and perfectly acceptable service.
