Kinigi Guesthouse, known locally as “Village Touristique de Kinigi”, is situated in peaceful green gardens just 300 metres from the Volcanoe National Park headquarters.

The best low cost guesthouse option for anyone looking to visit the park and see the mountain gorillas.

The guesthouse is run by the charity AASOFERWA (a non-profit, women's association) and the 20 wooden chalets are basic and sparse but do have electricity and hot water.

There is a comfortable bar and lounge area which serves good food and offers some wonderful views of the volcanoes. 

A real budget option with a very worthwhile charity behind it.
