Gorillas In Rwanda

We've just come back from an fantastic trip in Rwanda having seeing the amazing mountain gorillas. December is one of the best months to see Gorillas and we were lucky to spend 2 hours with 2 seperate families during the trip at Volcanoes National Park. The gorillas are highly protected and the investment provided by tourism has stemmed their decline. This was one of those once in a lifetime experiences and we would recommend it to anyone. In addition, Rwanda is such a beautiful country. It is rapidly trying to recover from the genocide tragedy and we were impressed by the effort every single Rwandan seems to invest in making Rwanda one of the best countries in Africa. The trip to the Genocide Museum in Kigali was an emotional experience but we are so pleased the country is able to pick up and be so positive about the future.
