Feedback: Particular thanks for the stay at Fundu - we absolutely loved it there, Hannes was fantastically welcoming and it really meant we finished our honeymoon on a real high.

Feedback: My wife and I are not wealthy people but we have saved well and worked hard to stay in some pretty incredible hotels in our time. This has one predominant outcome, that we are sticklers for quality and value for money.
I know that you are, as we did for our honeymoon, looking for the place that is going to provide both and perhaps a little extra dash of magic. We have no hesitation in saying – look no further.
Writing this review is a tricky catch twenty-two for those that have been to Fundu, as we have a responsibility to pour our affection over the place at the time as wanting to keep it a little secret just for us. But I promised the Managers, Matt and Annie, after an incredible dinner on the beach, that I would try and do justice to a beautiful hotel.
You arrive by boat to the end of the elegant jetty and are greeted by Matt, who then introduces the remainder of the hotel to you. It’s a discovery as the rich greens of the jungle cover most of the buildings from the divinely calm beach, and yet the views from the rooms themselves are breath-taking.
We certainly recommend spending an evening at the jetty bar with a Kilimanjaro beer, or Fundu cocktail, diligently prepared by your own bar staff. It’s here that you will realise the sunsets over the water are something that no camera quite captures the beauty of, but you’ll have plenty of gorgeous evenings trying. Another treasure is that the snorkeling is just so impressive that my wife and I decided that the scuba wasn’t even necessary. Who knows what we would have seen had we tried the scuba in the azure blue waters around Fundu Lagoon! They are nothing short of remarkable.
The quality of service, the remarkably fresh food, the location and the sense of calm is extraordinary. You will undoubtedly lose yourself in the magic of Fundu Lagoon because it has more than it’s dash of the stuff, it pours it on you.

Feedback: Spent 1 week here on our Honeymoon after doing Safari in Masi mara. We wanted to relax in style and that is just what Fundu offers. The views from the balcony's are amazing. I did some diving which was very proffesionally ran with excellent dive sites. There were many other options of water activities or you could simply relax by the pool with a great choice of drinks. The food was superb, and served by friendly attentative staff. Had the best week we could have hoped for. This is a luxury holiday that is worth spending that extra cash for a special occasion.
