Olare Orok and Ol Kinyei Conservancies, Mara From late July through to end of October, the renowned Masai Mara plays host to the incredible Wildebeest Migration, who come to feast on the nutrient-rich grasses on the plains of the Masai Mara and surrounding conservancies. Big 5 game viewing at it’s best plus spectacular and dramatic viewing of these incredible herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Porini Lion Camp, Olare Orok Conservancy

Day 1 - 3
  • Travel by road from Nairobi International Airport to Nairobi Wilson Airport
  • Fly by Light aircraft to Olare Orok Conservancy – approx 40mins.
  • Lovely classic style ” under canvas style camp” with really comfy living areas
  • Great service, good food and excellent guiding!
  • Morning and Afternoon/ evening shared game drives as well as guided walks with their expert game ranges
  • Your stay includes all meals, morning and afternoon game activity as well as local branded beer and house wine
  • You will arrive in camp in time for lunch and then you can relax before your afternoon game drive
  • If you stay 3 nights, during the Wildebeest Migration season, you can visit the main reserve for one full day. Outside of this season, this is possible too, but Reserve fees will be applicable and payable locally
  • During full day Mara Reserve visit, a picnic lunch will be prepared for you
  • Hot Air Ballooning and Cultural Village visits are also possible

Porini Mara Camp, Ol Kinyei Conservancy

Day 4 - 7
  • After breakfast, you will leave camp for your inter-camp game drive which takes you through 2 concessions before reaching your new camp.
  • the traversing of these conservancies will mean you get to see contrasting landscape and vegatation as well as enjoy seeing a whole range of wildlife.
  • you should arrive in camp in time for lunch and then you can relax before your afternoon game drive.
  • Morning and afternoon game drives are the norm, but guided bush walks and drives ending after dark are equally as exciting.
  • Your stay includes all your meals, soft drinks and beer and house wine.
  • when on safari here, you can explore your own private conservancy, as well as visit the neighbouring Naibosho Conservancy, which is home to many large prides of Lion and some wonderful large herds of Elephant. Viewing of Leopard and Cheetah between these two conservancies is excellent.
  • At the end of your stay, you will fly back to Nairobi Wilson Airport where you will be met and transferred by road to Nairobi International Airport.
